Dosing your sewer collection network for odour control

Contact us Open the brochure
  • Is dosing achieving your desired odour control objective?
  • How do you know if you’re overdosing / wasting money?
  • Is dosing adversely affecting STP performance or un-necessarily increasing STP chemical costs?
  • Are you meeting STP influent pH & alkalinity objectives?

If any of these questions raise concerns Calix can provide visibility to continuously monitor dosing performance.

Calix has developed robust, field ready H2S & pH monitoring solutions to allow 24 x 7 performance tracking and sewer network dosing optimization.

We present easy to read weekly reports that graphically report performance and provide a easy to understand scorecard for critical KPIs. Reports also incorporate dosing chemical inventory tracking including any changes in dosing rates.

Calix Monitoring services put you in the driving seat, give you peace of mind that your dosing $$ are well spent, and assurance that performance remains on track.

Additional options:

  • Real time integration into your SCADA system for continuous tracking
  • SMS alarms to alert to any deviations in performance or dosing unit faults

H2S & pH level history graphs
Top graph presents H2S (ppm) history vs time period noting minimum, average, & maximum levels during the report period; Bottom graph presents the same for pH.

Treatment Plant influent & effluent parameters
This page is customized to requirements but this example includes plant inflow, influent pH, & alkalinity plus catchment rainfall. This report also tracks daily alum dosing for phosphorous precipitation & final effluent total P.

Dosing site page
Provides graphical tracking of dose rate(s), daily MHL use & stock levels for each dosing site. This allows easy, ‘at a glance’ tracking of site usage & product inventory to allow timely management of product deliveries.
