Flexible working

General Manager, Investor Relations

Are you prepared to shape the narrative and enhance shareholder value as our new General Manager of Investor Relations?

You’ll spearhead the expansion of our investor network, leveraging strategic communications to motivate and foster confidence among both current and prospective investors and analysts. Your efforts will ensure an authentic representation of Calix’s strategy and operations, financial health, and outlook.

A global role and will be based in Australia reporting to the CFO.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global investor relations strategy and program aimed at attracting new investors while nurturing the confidence of our current investors and analysts.
  • Craft a content and communications strategy to keep the market informed about investment opportunities, creating engaging content for corporate reporting, results presentations, ASX releases, and investor day materials.
  • Provide transparent updates on financial performance and future strategy to the investment community and potential investors, managing expectations and contributing to the advancement of our share price.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson and relationship manager for existing and potential investor and analyst groups/individuals worldwide, fostering strategic relationships, facilitating collaborations, and coordinating meetings, conference calls, and roadshows to ensure timely and confident communication.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, Executive Team and Board on all investor relations strategies and matters, offering expert guidance through critical situations and ensuring compliance with disclosure obligations.
  • Collaborate with various teams, especially corporate affairs, on organisational narrative, reputational issues, and opportunities to maintain consistency across external stakeholder groups.

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Possess extensive experience in senior investor relations roles, preferably within an ASX 200 or 300 company.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills and an aptitude for networking, actively expanding your network within investor and analyst circles.
  • Utilise exceptional communication skills to distil complex data and information into impactful presentations that resonate with investors and analysts.
  • Exhibit a steadfast commitment to ethical practice, with a deep understanding of investor relations policy best practices and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Approach challenges with a highly commercial mindset, backed by a solid grasp of financial reports, analytical methods, and financial data tools.
  • Ideally, hold tertiary qualifications, particularly in a financial or commercial discipline, supplemented by a subsequent commercial/financial qualification (CA/CPA).
